What is Reclutavan?
Of all the initiatives, I'm glad to present Reclutavan, a beautiful van that from Monday to Friday travels through remote areas in districts of Lima, to get closer to people with a lot of desire and the need to get a job position but without the resources to get one.
Stats
Q1 2022 in Peru, according to INEI:
"56% of households in Peru have internet service, 81% of households in Peru only have a cell phone and more than 76% of the employed population of Peru is informal"
A deep and structural pain point identified: The challenge of getting a job position
Value proposition
Reclutavan transports materials and consultants. Once at the meeting points, with them, information about the benefits of formal employment is provided, job positions are presented, selection processes are done and job positions are filled.
Sustainable Development Goal #8: Decent work and economic growth. Check!
Job positions
With Reclutavan, it has been possible to fill 60-80 job positions per visit, some examples: Field sales representative, sales promoters, longshoremen, merchandisers, packers, forklift operators, warehouse assistants, warehouse operators, stacker operators...
Information provided
Information about the benefits of formal employment: Family allowance, bonuses, maternity leave, utilities, vacations, health insurance, compensation for time of services
In addition, candidates can be included in employability programs and solve skills assessments of Adecco Peru.
Where is the Reclutavan?
+25 districts: Lurín, Carabayllo, Ventanilla, Villa María del Triunfo, San Juan de Lurigancho, Villa El Salvador, Ate Vitarte, Punta Negra, Independencia, Comas... Reclutavan has worked in partnership with municipalities, job fairs, neighbourhood markets, churches...
