- What you would like to learn during your CEO for One Month internship?
- I would like to learn about the new value propositions of Adecco Peru...
Onboarding
During my first two weeks, I was accompanied by +15 incredible leaders. In one-to-one meetings, we talked about the processes of their areas, where they are experts, who their clients are, success rates, big dreams and action plans.
With smiles on their faces, they showed me how passionate they are about what they do and that made me feel proud... "Recruitment Process, Outsourcing, Payroll, Temporary Staffing, Training & Consulting", I learned what Adecco Peru offers from the best.
Teams
On Mondays and Thursdays, a family of +10,000 members was represented by wonderful group of 6 directors, 3 managers and 2 CEOs. In committees meetings with these incredible leaders, we integrated my onboarding in the most cooperative and dynamic way.
During my last two weeks, I added hours in Win4Youth, not only doing excercise but on the move meeting lovely group members. We enjoyed, we had lunch, we enjoyed, we learned together, we enjoyed, we celebrated Peru's birthday and we enjoyed.
Catch-Up
I also had one-to-one meetings with Santiago. We took time to explore the meaning of words and situations (personal and work spheres).
One was "to understand", to really pay attention to what the other sees, hears, says, does, thinks and feels, one of the most laborious but rewarding tasks.
Another was "to do", it's good to stop and reflect, but it's decisive to move forward, to move towards a purpose, to make the past, the present and the future work for everyone.
Early in the morning, on my way to study or work, I always pay attention to my surroundings, and I see dozens of people also on their way to work or getting their things ready, alone or with others, but dozens of people with dozens of purposes.
I pass through the historical Center of Lima, one of the points where the word "commerce" comes to life. Here and in many places in Peru, you can learn about being an entrepreneur, the great qualities to be one, but also the bad conditions that await those who want to be.
In the Final Assessment, the jury asked me why should I be the next CEO for One Month Peru. My answer was that I have superpowers and with them I help society.
In Peru, there isn't a day that I don't want to be a real superhero, but I also know very well that Peruvians strive to get ahead, we're hard workers and very passionate about what we do, that Peruvians are our own superheroes. And happily we have stakeholders like Adecco.
The mission of The Adecco Group is "making the future work for everyone", a purpose that for one month I'm pleased to have seen fully fulfilled in Adecco Peru, not only in decision making but in taking action.
Food and beverage, telecommunications, mining, retail, personal care, retail, clothing and footwear, e-commerce, delivery, real estate, banking, personal care... Knowing the industries in which Adecco Peru has been, is and will be exceeds my expectations.
I've always been in love with supply chains, but this month, I've been specially in love with the Peruvian human factor in them.
I'd like to thank everyone who, in so many ways, made me feel so welcome, loved and part of the Adecco Peru family.
To all the leaders and members of Marketing, Communications and CSR (Jimena de Torres, William Sarmiento), Human Resources (Katerina Rakov, Grecia Sotomayor, Carolina Colán, Emery Centurión), Sales & Marketing (Lorena Carbone), Training & Consulting (Gustavo Martinez), Service Delivery (Pamela Alcalde, Ken Mendoza, Gianella Zambrano), Payroll (Alison Loaiza), Permanent Placement (Patricia Carranza, Gabriel Nuñez, Janet Yarasca, Marco Bojórquez, Diana Galecio), Information Technology (Patricia Fuentes), Logistics & Distribution (Luis Garro), Operations (Walter Hernandez), Staffing (Mateo Bustamante), Strategic Operations (André de Montreuil), Finance (Oswaldo Mestizo), SSOMA (Vanessa Plasencia), Quality Assurance (Zaira Bendezú), Legal (André Robilliard), Commercial (Claudio Abdala).
